CS2 Trade Up Scanner

Use the TradeUpX scanner to find CS2 trade-ups with positive expected value (EV), real ROI after Steam's 13% fee, and accurate float targeting using the normalized per-skin formula.

The scanner evaluates all CS2 collections automatically and ranks high-EV contract opportunities by ROI. Supports Mil-Spec to Restricted, Restricted to Classified, Classified to Covert, and Covert to Gold knife trade-ups.

How the scanner thinks
1. Contract rule

Ten matching inputs create one higher rarity output.

The scanner only compares valid trade-up paths. Collections from your inputs decide which output pools can appear and how much probability they receive.

2. First scan

Start with a budget and let TradeUpX choose a setup.

The beginner setup chooses a rarity, market type, split, and float preset. You can open Scan Settings later when you want full control.

3. Read results

Read ROI, EV, cost, outputs, and risk together.

ROI compares expected value with total cost under the current fee setting. A high ROI is only useful if you understand the output odds and the input cost.

  • Cost is what the 10 inputs cost.
  • EV is probability-weighted output value.
  • ROI above 100% beats cost for that estimate.
4. Float and wear

Floats decide the output wear, and every skin has caps.

TradeUpX uses adjusted floats from each input cap. Mixed Float combines main skins and fillers to target Factory New or Minimal Wear near the next wear boundary.

5. Controls and results

Use controls for market mode, fees, Souvenir inputs, and sorting.

Normal and StatTrak are separate scans. Steam fee changes estimates. Search, sort, and wear filters help narrow the contracts after a scan.

  • Search and sort narrow result comparisons.
  • Refresh scan after scan-setting changes.
  • Compare outputs before buying inputs.
