CS2 Float Checker
CS2 Skin Float Checker & Database
Every CS2 skin has a float value that determines its wear condition and market price. But each skin also has its own unique min/max float range, which is critical for trade-up calculations. Use TradeUpX to check float ranges and predict trade-up output wear.

How to Check CS2 Skin Float
- In-game: Right-click a market listing and select Inspect in Game
- CSFloat: Best dedicated marketplace with float filters
- Steam Inventory Helper: Browser extension showing float on market listings
- TradeUpX skin pages: Every skin page shows float range, wear breakdown and float bar
Why Float Matters for Trade-Ups
In trade-up contracts, each input float is normalized to the skin's own range before averaging. This means a 0.20 float on different skins can produce completely different output results. The CS2 Float Guide explains the formula in detail.
Use the Float Output Calculator to predict exact output float, or let the scanner handle it automatically.
Float Ranges by Wear Tier
- Factory New: 0.00 – 0.07
- Minimal Wear: 0.07 – 0.15
- Field-Tested: 0.15 – 0.38
- Well-Worn: 0.38 – 0.45
- Battle-Scarred: 0.45 – 1.00

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a good float value?
Lower float = higher price for most skins. Factory New (0.00-0.07) commands the biggest premium.
Does float affect trade-up output?
Yes — output float follows a deterministic formula using normalized input floats. Lower inputs produce better output conditions.
