Cheapest CS2 Trade-Ups
You don't need a big bankroll to start trading up. The cheapest CS2 contracts use low-cost Mil-Spec and Restricted inputs — often just a few euros each — and still produce real ROI. This page shows where the cheap, profitable contracts live and how to find them.
Find the Cheapest Trade-Ups →Where the Cheapest Profitable Trade-Ups Are
The lowest-cost contracts almost always start at the bottom of the rarity ladder:
- Mil-Spec → Restricted: Inputs frequently cost €0.50–3 each, so a full 10-skin contract can run €5–30. The cheapest entry point in CS2.
- Restricted → Classified: Slightly higher at €30–80 per contract, but with stronger output liquidity.
Cheap doesn't mean unprofitable — it means lower absolute profit per contract but also lower risk, which is ideal for learning and for running many contracts.
How to Filter for Low-Cost Contracts
- Open the scanner and set the rarity path to Mil-Spec → Restricted
- Sort by Cost (ascending) to surface the cheapest contracts first
- Keep a minimum ROI of 115%+ so you still clear the Steam fee
- Prefer Field-Tested inputs — they're the cheapest wear to source
You'll get a ranked list of the most affordable contracts that are still profitable right now.
Cheap Trade-Up Strategy
With small contracts, the smart play is volume over jackpots. Running many low-cost, positive-EV contracts lets the probabilities average out, so your realised return tracks the expected value instead of swinging wildly. Reinvest the profits into slightly larger Restricted → Classified contracts as your bankroll grows.
Always refresh prices before buying — on cheap skins, a few cents of price movement can flip a contract from profitable to break-even.
